The concept for The Manor Villages evolved over a decade from one man’s determination to develop senior housing with a quality lifestyle. Spurred to action by the changing needs of his mother Birdie Viola Mann, our owner and CEO Dr. Garth Mann, personally visited almost 70 senior housing facilities across Canada and the United States. From those visits he refined and improved on what he saw, creating The Manor Village Life Centers of today.

My mom lived at The Manor Village of Scottsdale for more than three years. The sense of community, caring, and inclusion, from Day 1, was so important to her and really revitalized her after a series of previous moves sapped her spirit. She developed great new friendships at The Manor Village, discovered old friends among the residents, and always felt safe and secure. She loved the food, loved the atmosphere, and loved the staff. As her health declined over the last year, the staff at The Manor Village were right there to support her needs. This was a wonderful place for her to be in her last years of life.
