PACE Greater New Orleans

Location Reviews

PACE (program of all-inclusive care for the elderly) is one of 126 PACE programs operating in 255 PACE centers across 31 states serving more than 45,000 participants.  PACE Greater New Orleans provides a comprehensive package of health services to keep elderly individuals living in the community as long as medically and socially feasible. Services are customized and holistic to the particular needs of each participant and coordinated by an interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals. Our program provides free transportation to and from the residence of the participants as well as all other specialty doctors’ appointments. There are two PACE centers affiliated with PACE GNO. One on the Eastbank at 4201 N. Rampart in the Bywater, and an alternate care site on the Westbank in Marrero at 1131 Barataria Blvd. These two PACE centers are the only PACE centers in the country to inhabit retired and completely renovated historical houses of worship in Greater New Orleans. Our program encourages each participant to participate in their care plan and to socialize with others in the PACE community. As such we provide social and recreational activities including outings.  Additional services include: adult day health centers, medications, nursing care, rehabilitation and restorative therapies, personal care and homemaker services, primary and specialty medical care, pastoral care, social services, nutritional counseling, in-home care, caregiver support, continence management, hospitalization and nursing home care when needed, other specialty services and medical equipment when needed. Give us a call. We might have a future together.
