Choosing Manorhouse means having care and assistance as needed, in a comfortable, secure setting. We want you to enjoy life, remain active, and rely on assistance when needed. We strive to exceed your expectations. In our communities, you will find we have a variety of floor plans from which to choose. Before you join our community, we’ll be getting to know you, because we know the needs of each resident are unique. Our staff will get to know you so that we can design a specific care plan just for you. The Manorhouse “Levels of Care” program allows residents to enjoy the care and services they want, but pay only for the services they need. This program enables residents to age in place as their needs change – without moving, remaining in the comfort of the same residence. We’ll give special attention to what you most need, whether it’s an extra pair of hands getting yourself ready each day, or with medications, or keeping an eye on your changing health. Our communities consider the “whole person” and the most meaningful dimensions of your life – those areas needing attention or support. Becoming a part of our community means we’ll provide a place for enhanced daily living, specialty dining, social connections, and a caring staff on hand night or day to assist.
Our commitment to staff training and development is an integral part of our success. Our staff participates in extensive training from the day they join Manorhouse and throughout their career with the company. Education shapes the progressive care we provide your loved one, helping us remain sensitive to changing trends and care options. Then, we adapt what works with each individual resident as needed.

When the time came that my Mother should no longer live alone, I wanted to have her near me. To have her near me meant a move from North Carolina, away from lifelong friends and some family. I wanted a loving, home atmosphere where she could have her own space, but have assistance with her medications, meals, etc. The Manor House was my first stop. When I walked in I was greeted with such warmth and friendliness and immediately had a good feeling. As I talked with staff and toured the facility, I began to have my fears eased and was beginning to feel at home myself. I felt so completely comfortable and at ease I looked No further. This was meant to be Mother’s new home. On the day she moved in, every member of the staff came to meet her, began calling her by name and treating her and us like family. We were able to furnish her apartment with her own furniture, pictures, and plants, everything to make her feel comfortable and at home. The Manor House has a beautiful courtyard on the interior of the building. She loves to spend time out there feeding birds and enjoying beautiful East Tennessee days. There are a lot of musical activities, and programs to keep their residents happy, active and engaged in life. Mother has been a resident at the Manor House now for a year and a half. In that time they have helped her through two major illnesses to a full recovery, encouraged her to stay active, and make sure she is happy and well cared for. She has made so many good friends. We also have made new friends who are like family to us all. Manor House is “home” for Mother. The time that she has resided at the Manor House has been among some of the happiest in her later years. They have and continue to take good care of her and us. I can’t imagine not having the love and support of Tim and his staff to help guide us through what have truly become her golden years. I am thankful every day for The Manor House of Knoxville.
