Your CarePatrol contact is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, which requires one to pass a rigorous exam, a background-check, maintain continuing education, and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of older adults. I also have a certification as a CPRS - Certified Placement and Referral Specialist.

CarePatrol tours and is familiar with all communities that we recommend; this includes being familiar with the most recent state survey results, such as the violation history.

The local CarePatrol consultant meets with the family to conduct a Care Discovery to determine such factors as the senior’s ADL (activities of daily living) support needs, social desires, and financial capabilities.

We educate the family on the safest and most appropriate care options that match the needs identified during the Care Discovery, whether the needs are day care, in-home care, or a community such as assisted living, independent living, memory care, or nursing home.

If the recommendation is for a move to a community, we coordinate scheduling of the tours and accompany the family on the tours.

After the tours, we help the family navigate the often difficult, decision-making process.  This can include assisting the family with referrals to appropriate professionals.
