CarePatrol helps families/seniors find assisted living, independent living, memory care, in-home care and nursing homes. We can help whether the senior is at home, or being discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation facility. Our services are provided at no cost to the senior/family that is needing help.
Your CarePatrol contact is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, which requires one to pass a rigorous exam, a background-check, maintain continuing education, and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of older adults. I also have a certification as a CPRS - Certified Placement and Referral Specialist.
CarePatrol tours and is familiar with all communities that we recommend; this includes being familiar with the most recent state survey results, such as the violation history.
The local CarePatrol consultant meets with the family to conduct a Care Discovery to determine such factors as the senior’s ADL (activities of daily living) support needs, social desires, and financial capabilities.
We educate the family on the safest and most appropriate care options that match the needs identified during the Care Discovery, whether the needs are day care, in-home care, or a community such as assisted living, independent living, memory care, or nursing home.
If the recommendation is for a move to a community, we coordinate scheduling of the tours and accompany the family on the tours.
After the tours, we help the family navigate the often difficult, decision-making process. This can include assisting the family with referrals to appropriate professionals.

Though I have a home, in a couple of years I want to sell my home and give the funds to my grandchildren. They will need a down payment for a home of their own. I presently am in a three bedroom home - I live alone. Because I am extremely healthy, my goal is to find a suitable independent living location, preferably in St. Tammany Parish. Though I am 80 years young, I am extremely healthy, take no medication, do not drink alcohol nor smoke. I do not take any illegal drugs. I feel and look like I am in my late 50's - have been weighing the same since 1958 (150 lbs.) Independent living is what I am seeking, and if you would help me, I would appreciate it! My monthly income is around $2,552 985-249-8026 Thank you kindly!
