When I retired several years ago I met folks from Benevilla and decided to volunteer. The more engagement I had with this wonderful non-profit agency the more I wanted to do. Every day brings a new example of the importance of the work Benevilla does in the Northwest Valley. They have been a model for many other local not-for-profit organizations serving members with Alzheimer's and dementia as well as developmentally disabled adults. Their award winning "Intergenerational Program", bringing senior members together with the young children in the Wirtzie's Preschool is a shining example of their passion and creativity in bringing dignity and enhanced independence to our aging population.

What a great resource to the West Valley! I hear rave reviews from friends who participate in their Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program.
