Amada Senior Care of Birmingham has provided my mother and my family with superior service for the past two years. I cannot express in words how the owners and the staff have assisted in providing care for my mother so she could remain in her home where she is most comfortable. The staff and the wonderful caregivers have been right there with us as her needs have changed and progressed. They have provided suggestions and knowledge of eldercare that we have incorporated in her daily living activities. I really don't know what we would have done without them.
A recent example of their service to my family: One of our family member had an unexpected change in circumstances and was not able to fulfill their normal time in caring for my mother. I, in a panic, went to Amada with a list of shifts that were not covered on the day I was to fly home (10 hours away). And insult to injury - it was the Christmas holiday season! Nick, Rachel, Karen, and Farah calmly showed me how they could handle the challenge. The problem was solved without interruption to my 95-year-old mother with care from her usual caregivers. I was able to get on the plane without worrying about scheduling, care, and my mother. Priceless in my book.
Eldercare is no walk in the park. Older folks love a routine so change is usually very difficult for them. Our caregivers, Wanda, Evelyn, Pam and Michelle provide consistent, loving, knowledgable care to my mother and peace of mind to me and my sisters. Amada supports their caregivers so that high level of care can be provided. Amada Senior care should be the first choice for anyone looking for in home care.

My husband had a stroke and needs reliable, professional help with daily living activities. He was embarrassed to ask for assistance with personal care such as using the bathroom, showering and dressing. In addition to memory loss and confusion, he is also unsteady on his feet and needs a caregiver to be with and assist him at all times. The Amada owners and staff are knowledgeable, attentive and kind.
